WordPress Announced Today 2.9 Release Candidate 1

WordPress announced the first release candidate for version 2.9. You can see all the details here.

If everything goes as scheduled, they will release the full version 2.9 by the end of this week.

There are some really neat things in this new version. Particularly handling of images and updating things in bulk. This should really be a time saver.

Now of course as always with a new release, we will have to see what bugs pop up and if they stay on this schedule.
