You can boost your online business by selling on EBay. If you have a web store for selling products, you can put some of the products on EBay.

EBay is a major platform for retailers and ordinary sellers. The site has over 500 million listings and growing every year. More than 750,000 Americans use EBay to earn full time income while over 1,5 million Americans use the platform to earn extra income.

Your first step is to get the knowledge for getting started. You must have your own PC and internet connection.

Register a free account on EBay. It does not take more than five minutes.

Your EBay account needs to have a method of receiving and sending payments. Consider creating a PayPal account. PayPal is required because it’s used by most people. PayPal is authorized by EBay.Go to the internet and sign up for a PayPal account. A bank account is needed for creating a PayPal account. Your credit card must also be verified. You can only withdraw money if you have a verified account.

EBay not only offers PayPal, but many other forms of payment as well.

Second, make a decision about what you are going to sell. Remember that you can sell new and old items.

You will start with your house. Look for clutter in your basement, garage, and attic. You will find items like electronic gadgets, CDs and clothes. Your old wireless reading device can be sold for cash.

Instead of selling items one by one, create a group of similar items. Maybe you have a takamine acoustic guitar in your collection. You can sell the guitar along with other items like a piano and violin. EBay customers like paying for multiple items if it is a bargain.

Be honest about the quality of your items. If your full face helmet is new, then you must make it known. Put a tag that EBay provides.NWT stands for ‘New With Tags’. NWOT stands for ‘New Without Tags’.

Some items are only in demand at a specific time of the year. Make sure that you sell the items before the period or holiday. Sell winter coats 4 – 6 weeks before winter. Christmas gifts 6 weeks before Christmas.

The third step is to determine how long your listing will last. You can choose between a one day listing, three day listing, five day listing and one week listing. A one-week listing attracts many customers. Put your listing on Sunday and let it run until the next Sunday. If you choose a five-day listing, let it run from Tuesday to the next Sunday.

Finally, you must post your listings at appropriate times of the day. Target the time when people are busy on the internet.
