Google is the biggest search engine. Its market share is more than 70% and increasing even more. Daily millions of people visit Google to search for relevant websites. Getting your website ranked on Google means lots of free traffic. With the rise in the cost of PPC, many webmasters are now turning towards SEO.

Search Engine Optimization means work. The most important thing for an SEO expert is the Page Rank (PR) of a website or a blog. Google uses PR of a website or a blog to rank it on its search engine right now. In future PR will become even more important. Get your website a high PR. Your website or blog will get more attention from Google in its SERP.

How do you get a Page Rank (PR) that too in as short time as possible? This is my story of how I did it. I got a Page Rank (PR) of 3 from zero in around 2 months. Google values links a lot. Everyone talks about the value of link building in getting a good PR from Google.

I think no doubt link building is important on the three search engines. But Google values good content more in my opinion. Content is the king still. Google wants relevant good content websites ranked on its search engine pages.

What I have seen is that the Googlebot Algorithm is highly accurate. It can easily discern what the webpage or the blog post is saying. You should have heard about the LSI patent Google got a few years back. No, LSI is the acronym for Latent Semantic Indexing. It does not depend on keywords and Google does not give much importance to keyword density.

Do use the keyword in your articles that you want to be ranked. However, dont take it as the sole criterion that Google will use to rank your site on its SERPs. Googlebot Algorithm can accurately judge the essence of your post or webpage. Then rank it for a relevant keyword that it considers the most relevant.

I think Google likes blogs more than websites. Blogs have daily fresh content. It will be easy for you to get a high PR in a short time with a blog as compared to a website. I have a blog. Write a very good post daily. It should not be less than 800 words. Do a little link building as well. Write a good article every other day that links back to your site.

Good content coupled with a little bit of link building will get your site from PR 0 to PR 3 almost within 2 months. I use an article writing service that can create hundreds of unique versions of your articles. This service then submits them to hundreds of websites and directories looking for content.

You can rank any page of your website by using the keyword as the anchor text for the links in the articles that you submit. A few article submissions will make you see your webpage on the first page within the top 5 positions on the SERP.
